Merry Christmas!

Well, the big day is almost  here.  Hope that you are all ready for it.

The weather here is not co-operating at all- ice has been our normal now for

2-3 days.  I shouldn’t complain at all because I still have heat and electricity.

Last week, I quilted a T-shirt quilt for a friend.  She too was completing the

quilt for a dear friend.

Barb did a great job and I was happy to get it done on time for her to

make the binding and add it to the quilt.

This is one of the blocks that made up the quilt.  Who can reisist

Homer?  Although, I am not a fan of his.

The owner of these T-shirts loved soccer so I had to make

sure that I stitched at least one soccer ball into the quilt

somewhere.

I used a polyester thread for the top and backing.  Whatever color

made up the block, that is what I used.  This lessens tension issues quite

alot and makes my job easier.

Here is one of the 4 wallhangings that my sister wanted me to

do for her LAST year.  I seem to be behind in alot of things.

It is a cute panel she picked up at Len’s Mills.

Wallhanging #2 turned out pretty cute too.

I really like the poinsetta’s on this wallhanging.

These two wallhangings above were quilted on my longarm but

the next one I will  show you was quilted on my domestic Janome.

Now, I remember once again why I bought a longarm.  I really

dislike having to move the fabric like crazy. And my neck was not

happy with me when I was done.

Again, another panel from Len’s Mills.  Hoping

that she will like them all.  I am sure that she will be

surprised that I have 3 of the 4 finished and only 1 year late.

I hope that you enjoyed this eye candy.
