Here are some more pictures from our local Quilt Show, which took place
about a month ago.
Once again, there are alot of photos so you may want to grab a beverage.
There were alot of modern quilts in the show this year.
I really like the colors of this quilt and the pattern as well.
What great colors in this one too.
A part of this baby quilt is cut off because the lighting is off
somewhat.
This quilt is very interesting in its piecing and quilting.
All of the quilting is done by hand. The owner did a great job.
Cool colors.
This quilt just yells “fun” to me. What do you think?
A close up of the vans.
I really like the embellishments on this quilt.
The penguin has lots of hair.
The lama has a really cool texture to it.
More animals and birds.
A sampler quilt. Below is a close up of the blocks.
This one reminds me of all the Canadian Quilts I have seen this year.
Isn’t it amazing how one block can look so different, depending on the colors used.
A Bargello Heart Quilt. I have never tried one of these.
This one looks so complicated.
Maybe not so complicated now?
An Embroidered Quilt; looks very classy to me. It won Viewers Choice Award.
Christy was a very happy quilter.
A close up of the embroidery and the quilting. Rose quilted it; she is a very
talented longarmer in the area too.
The quilting looks like lace to me.
The backing shows another tale of the same story.
Another colorful quilt.
I like the soft pastel colors of this quilt.
And I love all the colors in this one too. There are more quilts to come
from the same Quilt Show. Have a great week and check out
