Here are the last of the pictures from our Local Quilt Show, in September.
Love the red, white and black polar bear quilt.
Sampler quilts are a great way to practice your quilting skills.
Anyone know the name of this block?
This quilt looks modern to me but traditional blocks are used in the corners.
Donna made this quilt.
I really like what Donna quilted in this area. How can you not love pebbles and swirls?
The motif in the center of this block is interesting as well.
Look at all those small pieces!! Wow! Someone had alot of fun and patience.
Lynn made this beauty. She always has the most gorgeous fabrics. When she brought me
the quilt, she told me to pebble it. There were so many pebbles, I was seeing them in my sleep.
Just kidding!
Lynn won the Viewer’s Choice Award. Congrats Lynn!
I probably have the wrong name for this block but I do like the colors used. And the
quilting is very effective and well done.
If my memory serves me correctly, Donna made this adorable quilt. I really like
the colors and how whimsical it is.
I like the yellow and green colors, great for cheering you up. especially now that
all the leaves have fallen and the cold wind is blowing.
This is my current hand sewing project. There are over 750 triangles in this bin.
I am planning on making a king size quilt composed of flying geese.
My trial block; trying to work out some of the bugs. I only have 119 more blocks
to make. Yes, I think that I have finally lost my mind.
Have a great week.
the peach quilt is a snail’s trail
The quilt block you wanted identified is a Snail Trail. Those are some really wonderful quilts in your show.
